The Users

Any teacher who is looking for a change in career will find useful help and advice on the pages of this website.

We are looking for more Escape Success Stories and would love to hear yours. If you give us permission to publish your story we will happily change personal details and locations to maintain your privacy.

The Management

The site is the brainchild and property of Philip Turner, who lives in Cork, Ireland. He is English and taught for 27 years at  large comprehensive schools in St Helens and Wigan.

Phil no longer teaches. He has a full time job where he is paid for being on call at home, with a company van and phone.

Phil has various sources of income from publishing resources, private tuition, exam marking and websites.

The Future

If you have any other ideas that might be a  useful part of an escape plan for British teachers we would welcome the opportunity to spread the word.
